What is Assisted Living and what

Assisted Living residents live in a studio, one or two-bedroom apartment, and come and go as they please.  We assist them with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. Also included in their monthly rent are 3 restaurant-style meals daily, weekly housekeeping and linen services, transportation, social activities and use of all common areas.

What is Independent Living what is
included in my rent?
Independent Living residents live in a studio, one or two-bedroom apartment, and come and go as they please.  They do not require any additional assistance with daily living. Their monthly rent includes 3 restaurant-style meals daily, weekly housekeeping and linen services, transportation, social activities and use of all common areas.

What type of Emergency Response
system is in place?
Each apartment is equipped with two emergency pull cords, one in the living area and one in the bathroom.  When a pull cord is activated, the message goes to the pager and the nursing office.  An on-duty professional will respond. We have professional staff on-site 24 hours a day.         

What type of social and recreational
activities do you have available?
Our full-time Activities Director and staff provide a wide range of social, recreational, religious and cultural activities within the independent and assisted community.  Group outings such as shopping trips, dining out, local community entertainment and trips are part of the monthly recreational calendar.

Are there any VA benefits available
for veterans, their spouses or widows?
VA benefits are available for those who require assisted living.  Please contact us directly for more information.

Are housekeeping and laundry
services available?
Our inclusive assisted living rate includes weekly housekeeping, linen and laundry services.  Laundry facilities are available on each floor for those residents who wish to be independent and do their own laundry.

Can I bring a pet to your facility?
Yes, well behaved small pets are welcome in our community.  The complete pet policy will be detailed in your Resident Handbook.

Can I bring my car?
Yes, there is a spacious parking lot located in the back of the building with designated parking spaces for residents with cars.

Are there any hidden fees or buy-ins?
The Manor at Market Square has no buy-in or entrance fees, long-term leases or hidden costs.                             

What if I am an independent resident
but my spouse needs assisted living?
Apartments can be shared even if the individuals require different levels of care.
