Manor at Market Square has 92 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments for Independent and Assisted Living. It is conveniently located at 803 Penn Street, in downtown Reading, PA, adjacent to the Sovereign Center.

The Manor at Market Square was officially opened in 2000 as a community for independent seniors. In 2003, the community started a program to accommodate assisted living residents. The program's focus was to offer individualized care, while still promoting the highest level of independence. The Manor also provides short -term respite care for recovering seniors or for family caregivers who need a break to tend to other family matters or go on vacation.

The building is privately owned. It is managed by Heritage Senior Living who also manages other senior facilities in the area such as: Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living, in Boyertown, PA, Traditions of Hanover in Bethlehem, PA, Traditions of Hershey in Palmyra, PA and Arbour Square Independent Living in Harleysville, PA.
